Location: Christchurch, New Zealand (exports to 65+ countries) Link Engine Management+1
Film Type: Corporate Brand & Trade / Enterprise Exhibition Video

Overview

Link Engine Management is a globally-recognised leader in high-end motorsport engine control units (ECUs), designed and manufactured in Christchurch and exported to more than 65 countries. Link Engine Management+1 They partner with elite performance teams internationally and operate from a base of technical excellence and innovation.

For Link, I was brought in to create a film that would showcase who they are — not just as an engineering brand, but as a New Zealand-based export-champion, trusted by performance teams around the world.
The work included both a brand/trade video for Link itself and a subsequent video for their client Pivot & Pace (strategic implementation experts) to support their export-facing story.

The Approach

To bring Link’s engineering story to life, the production process included:

  • On-site filming in Christchurch: inside the R&D and manufacturing facility, capturing engineers at work, precision machining, test rigs, and final product testing.

  • Trade-exhibition environment visuals: showcasing Link’s presence and export footprint globally.

  • Interview segments with senior engineers and export team to communicate the brand’s “designed in New Zealand” heritage and global reach.

  • “Client-face” segment for Pivot & Pace: filming alongside the Link narrative to show how strategic implementation drives export success.

  • Post-production: full edit, motion graphics integration, brand palette alignment, and delivery of cut-downs for trade shows and digital platforms.
